Contacted Florida Boat Canvas through their very helpful website. Even though my request was for a very small repair, Don got back to me promptly and said he would take of it. Stopped by his shop the next day he repaired it immediately. I was impressed by Don's exemplary customer service and attention to detail, even though this was such a small job. Don is clearly a professional who enjoys what he is doing and is focused on helping his customers. I recommend him highly.
You know a business is good when your mailman refers them! Don is a laid back guy and does great work. I brought my Bimini top directly to him and I was needing 2 sections cut out of my Bimini to better stabilize my Bimini. At the minimum, give him a call if you're searching.

Don was flexible with scheduling, very punctual, and easy to deal with. His website made it easy to upload photos of the work needing to be done, and he was able to make a small console hatch cover based off photos that fit great. He was able to squeeze in my small project the same day as I called even though he was booked out three months on large projects. His pricing is fair and on par with industry prices. Additionally, his shop was well organized and clean and is located inside a gated and very secure boat/rv storage facility.

Don is by far the best Canvas guy I’ve ever worked with and I own a Dive charter business Keys Huka Dive here in Venice, Florida. So I’ve have felt with a number of boat canvas companies and hands down he’s the best.
I called Don up on Friday at 3:30 expecting Just to drop off my Bimini top for his repair. Don told me to bring it on in. He fixed it within an hour and improved it with different stops for the zippers if you have any canvas work to be done, Don is your guy.

Don was the ultimate professional with presenting me with several repair options, sending me photos of the progress, and he completed the job ahead of schedule. His attention to detail puts him above the rest. If available, I would assign a constellation of 10-stars.

Don was great. Very easy to work with and did a great job on my canvas repair. During TS Debby we had a vent pole pierce through our cover. Don was able to get me in the same day i called him. Met him at his shop and he made the repair (better than new) while I waited. Highly recommend.
I found Don at FL Boat Canvas via his Google reviews. I called him up and discussed a canvas repair I needed and explained I was in a hurry to get it done and installed back on my boat. He said “no problem”. He was on his way back to his shop and would be there at 4:30pm and I could meet him there. Not to my surprise, he pulled in at 4:30 and told me it would be done the next day. It was not only done the next day as promised but the work was phenomenal. Double reinforced on both sides and perfectly matching the original sunbrella fabric. Great to encounter such quality service and work.

I unexpectedly met Don one day last week as he was doing some canvas work on my neighbors boat here at the Moorings at Longboat Key. I quickly explained my need for work to be done on my Bimini top. He immediately dropped what he was doing and came aboard to assess my work needed. Don informed me that he could do the work and told me it would be done within 2 days. I was so impressed and blown away by his remarks. Sure enough, Don indeed had my Bimini top done in those 2. It was so nice to have this company live up to its promise and the time and care he took with my project.
