Don recently repaired my pontoon boat cover. The repair was excellent - literally just like new! The reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because the experience working with Don was outstanding.Other businesses....and business schools should become "Secret Shoppers," and take their notebooks along, to see what a terrific consumer experience is supposed to look and feel like!You'll certainly be happy with Don's work, but more importantly, you'll be thrilled with the experience of working with him!
Don was great. Very easy to work with and did a great job on my canvas repair. During TS Debby we had a vent pole pierce through our cover. Don was able to get me in the same day i called him. Met him at his shop and he made the repair (better than new) while I waited. Highly recommend.
I found Don at FL Boat Canvas via his Google reviews. I called him up and discussed a canvas repair I needed and explained I was in a hurry to get it done and installed back on my boat. He said “no problem”. He was on his way back to his shop and would be there at 4:30pm and I could meet him there. Not to my surprise, he pulled in at 4:30 and told me it would be done the next day. It was not only done the next day as promised but the work was phenomenal. Double reinforced on both sides and perfectly matching the original sunbrella fabric. Great to encounter such quality service and work.I will be utilizing Don to replace my entire boat canvas when the time arises. I highly recommend this professional.
I unexpectedly met Don one day last week as he was doing some canvas work on my neighbors boat here at the Moorings at Longboat Key. I quickly explained my need for work to be done on my Bimini top. He immediately dropped what he was doing and came aboard to assess my work needed. Don informed me that he could do the work and told me it would be done within 2 days. I was so impressed and blown away by his remarks. Sure enough, Don indeed had my Bimini top done in those 2.
